Join Master D’ Imaging × Alan Photo for an introductory bird photography workshop exploring how to get the most out of OM SYSTEM equipment for birding. Led by experienced bird photographer and OM SYSTEM Ambassador Martin Leung, the session will cover the fundamentals of bird photography, OM SYSTEM’s advantages for birding, including its 2x crop advantage and Bird Detection AF, as well as different camera bodies and telephoto lenses. Participants will also learn practical camera setups for perched birds, birds-in-flight and challenging environments, followed by tips on field workflow and preparation.

Martin Leung’s fascination with wildlife began in childhood, inspired by nature documentaries, and grew into a passion for photography and storytelling during his university years. Based in Singapore, Martin photographs the island’s parks, nature reserves and green corridors, focusing on showcasing the often-overlooked biodiversity within one of the world’s most urbanised countries.
Beyond his photography, Martin leads wildlife tours and photowalks, helping others discover wildlife in their own neighbourhoods while promoting appreciation for local biodiversity and conservation. As an OM SYSTEM Ambassador, Martin uses the system’s portability, weather sealing and rugged build to photograph Singapore’s unpredictable tropical climate with confidence.
This walk is held in the lead up to the upcoming Singapore Bird Race.
