Anlung Pring is a protected Landscape located in Kampot Province, in the southern region of Cambodia, near the border with Vietnam. As a community-managed and Ramsar-listed wetland, the area is renowned for its rich biodiversity and is one of Cambodia’s most important refuges for the globally Vulnerable Sarus Crane.

NSS will be working with NatureLife Cambodia (NLC) to bring participants to Anlung Pring Protected Landscape, where they will gain insights into wetland management, sustainable land use, and community-led conservation efforts.

Participants will learn how local communities collaborate on resource allocation and produce Crane Rice as an eco-business initiative that supports both livelihoods and the conservation of the Indochinese Sarus Crane, which has experienced significant population declines and ongoing conservation challenges.
