Open to the Public
Join us in exploring Springleaf Nature Park, a buffer to the nearby Central Catchment Nature Reserve. The relatively harder to spot Grey Pansy is commonly seen there, flying and mating close to the greenery by the river’s edge. Happily two other attractive pansies – Blue and Peacock – were also sighted there. Other rarer butterflies spotted there include Ambon Onyx, Scarce Silverstreak, Banded Royal, Dark Tit, Sumatran Sunbeam, Green Baron, Chequered Lancer, Common Red Flash, Centaur Oakblue, Copper Flash, Common Bush Hopper, Hoary Palmer, Ancyra Blue, Palm King, Moore’s Ace, Yellow Palm Dart.
