Let nature calm us from the hustle and bustle of city life, restoring harmony in our body, mind and spirit. Come join us to experience a simple and refreshing day in nature in one of Singapore’s most rustic islands – Pulau Ubin. A tranquil island known for its lush greenery and untouched natural beauty, the island is home to a diverse range of flora and fauna, including the many gentle giants we are going to meet in this walk. A forest bathing experience will follow at the end of the walk, explore how we can adopt and add forest bathing exercises to our self-care routine.
What is Forest Bathing?
“Forest Bathing”, or “immersing oneself in a forest atmosphere” is a slow and intentional practise of being with the forest or green space. Not just walking through it, but being present in the natural environment, engaging in a series of relaxation and nature connection activities. The ME moment observing in silence and quieting our thoughts. The experience aims to connect us with nature through our 5 senses, enhancing our sense of well-being, relieving stress, encouraging relaxation and can help stimulate creativity. At the end of the session, we will be sharing tea.
