Birdwatching at Thomson Nature Park

Join  Veronica Foo, an experienced birder from the NSS Bird Group, for a morning bird walk at Thomson Nature Park. This buffer park located in the east of the Central Catchment Nature Reserve, was a former Hainan village that is rich in cultural heritage. It is a key conservation site for the critically endangered Raffles’ Banded Langur and also home to some of our forest bird species such as the Red-crowned Barbet, Rufous-tailed Tailorbird, Orange-bellied Flowerpecker and Little Spiderhunter.

Things to Bring
Bring along a pair of binoculars, sun-hat, water for hydration, rain gear and wear proper walking shoes and wear light appropriate clothing to prevent insect bites.
