About Butterfly & Insect Group
The Butterfly & Insect Group ( B I G ) conducts regular butterfly walks at Parks and Nature Reserves. In addition, we observe, study, photograph and document the butterflies of Singapore and the surrounding regions.
Our activities are published in the Nature Society (Singapore)'s newsletter and in our website. BIG website is set up to extend our reach and to interact with butterflies enthusiasts, especially those who are unable to participate in our outings.
Through this site, we will bring you the latest on our activities, share with you facts and figures about Singapore butterflies, entice you with the colourful photos of butterflies and report our findings from our butterfly walks.
If you are interested in butterflies, would like to join our activities, or even our group, just drop us a line or come to one of our walks!
