DESCRIPTION:   \nOpen to the Public \nThe Lornie Park Connector is a 1.76 km green corridor established to serve as an ecological buffer and recreational trail. The multi-tiered rainforest acts as a natural buffer\, protecting the forest edge and supporting the habitat of native wildlife. \nToday\, one is able to see a good variety of butterflies as they emerge from the forests of MacRitchie Reservoir. They include uncommon to rare butterflies such as Dark Banded Ace\, Hieroglyphic Flat\, Royal Assyrian\, Great Helen\, Great Imperial\, Ambon Onyx\, Horsfield’s Baron\, Cruiser\, Knight\, Commander\, Fluffy Tit\, The Quaker\, Elbowed Pierrot\, Painted Jezebel\, Common Rose\, Common Birdwing. \nMaximum No. of Participants:\n25 pax \nClosing Date\n9 August 2026\, Sunday \nThings to Bring\nBring along a  sun protection\, water for hydration\, rain gear\, wear proper walking shoes and wear light appropriate clothing to prevent insect bites. \nEnquiries\nFor any enquiries\, please contact Shreeyaa at shreeyaa@nss.org.sg \nNote:\n•⁠ ⁠Registration is on a first-come-first-serve basis.\n•⁠ ⁠Registration will close once the maximum number of participants is reached\, or on closing date.\n•⁠ ⁠Only confirmed participants will be contacted by email\, after the closing date\, with details on the meeting time and place.
