Watching Migratory Birds at Dairy Farm Nature Park

Dairy Farm Nature Park provides good opportunities to see many migratory species associated with the forests. More than 40 species of migratory landbirds have been reported to date here, including some of the rarest species in Singapore. With a bit of luck, it is possible to see the Mugimaki Flycatcher, Ashy Minivet, and even the elusive Siberian and Eyebrowed Thrushes. Ding Li will also introduce the landbirds of the East Asian-Australasian Flyway and the threats they face on their migrations.

Participants are strongly encouraged to be fully vaccinated and be well on the day of the walk.

Duration & Time
This walk will take about 3 hours from 7.30 am till 10.30 am.

- Registration is on a first-come-first-serve basis. 
- Details on the meeting point and time will be provided in the confirmation email to successful participants.
- Only confirmed participants will be contacted.

Things to Bring
Bring along a pair of binoculars, sun-hat, water for hydration, rain gear and wear proper walking shoes and wear light appropriate clothing to prevent insect bites.
