As our last effort to kayak to St. John's and Pulau Tekukor was foiled by the unexpected bad weather, we are reattempting to explore the 2 islands this May.

This is a sea kayaking trip to two interesting Southern Islands Pulau Tekukor and St John’s Island. Pulau Tekukor used to be a military island. Although we cannot land, we will paddle past closely. St John’s Island was once the world's largest quarantine centre. It is now an oasis of mature trees, abandoned houses, holiday camps and sandy beaches. We will get to enjoy its fabulous sun, sand and sea.

Total Paddle Distance: 8km kayaking

What to Bring:
Sun protection (hats, long sleeve clothing), water, snacks, change of clothes (will get wet!), wear proper footwear

Available at end of trip

Kayaks & kayaking equipment, PDFs, & guides

The event is subject to cancellation if there is adverse weather and/or we cannot meet the minimum numbers. A replacement trip will be offered if cancellation is due to poor weather.
