Green Corridor Walk June: Kranji to former Singapore Quarry

Assemble outside the station control of Kranji MRT Station. We will leave by 0820hrs.

Need to shed those calories after the Hari Raya festivities and feeling the blues towards the end of the school holidays in June in Singapore? Join Keng Kiat and Kai Khiun for a semi-guided walk along part of the former Malayan Rail this Sunday morning on 24 June 2018 at 0800s. The planned route will start from Kranji MRT station and end at the Singapore Quarry along the Bukit Timah Nature Reserve. 

Where to Meet
Assemble outside the station control of Kranji MRT Station. We will leave by 0820hrs. 

Journey may be delayed by weather conditions. The journey may take an estimated of four to five hours, but you may leave at the various exit points near MRT stations and bus stops at Woodlands Road and Upper Bukit Timah Road. 

What to Bring
As the ground may be muddy, please wear good walking shoes or hiking shoes. Bring along plenty of drinking water, headwear, mosquito repellent, raincoats and umbrellas. There will be rest points along the route at 10 Mile Junction and Rail Mall. The route is suitable for the general public.

According to the Land Transport Authority: From 1 June 2018 (Friday) to 1 July 2018 (Sunday), 5 stations along the NSL, from Admiralty to Yio Chu Kang, will close earlier at around 11pm on Fridays and Saturdays and open later at around 8am on Saturdays and Sundays to facilitate maintenance and renewal works.
