Open to the Public - Registration Needed - Fully Vaccinated
World Water Day is held on 22 March every year since 1993, to celebrate freshwater and to raise awareness of the 2.2 billion people living without access to safe water.
Lorong Halus Wetlands, located along the eastern bank of Serangoon Reservoir, collects and treats water passing through the former landfill, before it flows into the reservoir, thus safeguarding the quality of water in the reservoir.
Join Lena Chow to explore the water filtration ponds at the Lorong Halus Wetlands and admire various dragonfly species eg. Dancing Dropwings, Common Scarlets, Blue Perchers, Variegated Green Skimmers, which are regularly found at this unique place.
Participants are strongly encouraged to be fully vaccinated and be well on the day of the walk.
This walk is conducted in conjunction with PUB's celebrations for Singapore World Water Day in March 2023.
