Kayaking Sungei Simpang & Seletar Island

Date : 24 Nov 2019
Time : 7.30am to 12.30am
Location : Sembawang Park (start and end point)

Open to the Public - Registration Needed

A leisurely paddle into one of the last riverine mangrove on our shores. If you have never paddled before, this trip would be a good introduction. The kayakers will learn about the Giant Fig, snails, rubik cubes, lobsters, and why there are plenty of babies in the mangrove. Be inspired by the "beauty and brains" of this riverine system. As the tides are ideal that day, we will also make a special trip to explore a hidden river on Seletar Island.
