Accomplished photographer Jimmy Chew has been an avid nature watcher for over 40 years. He will share his photos of the beautiful birds and butterflies as well as the riveting mountain landscape of Bhutan. For birds, he will highlight the beauty of the critically-endangered Whitebellied Heron (Ardea insignis) with only 250 birds remaining in the wild. On butterflies, he will showcase Bhutan’s National Butterfly, the striking Bhutan Glory (Bhutanitis ludlowi), as well as other splendid species found in Bhutan’s high mountains. Sonam Dorji, a butterfly and bird guide in Bhutan, will be present to address any sighting queries and nature interest in Bhutan.
