Open to the Public

Led by Simon Chan of the Butterfly and Insect Group, this will be our third outing to Bukit Panjang Park. It has been four years since condominiums were built alongside the park. The site is in the neighbourhood of the forests at Dairy Farm and Chestnut Nature Park. It will be interesting to assess if its butterfly life is still as vibrant as prior to condominium construction. Butterflies seen in the past include Horsfield’s Baron, Plain Nawab, Bigg’s Brownie, Autumn Leaf, Grey Pansy, Blue Pansy, Chestnut Bob and dayflying moths.
