Launch of NSS Butterfly Field Guide. Participants will be fore-mostly treated to a talk cum slide presentation of our winged wonders in their full splendour. The presentation will focus on the characteristics of the butterfly families and the ten most common butterflies found in Singapore. Thereafter we will launch the pocket sized butterfly field guide that BIG has been working on for the past year. This will culminate with a butterfly race where participants with the help of the guide will be able to identify butterflies almost immediately! Time: 9am - 11am. Venue: Singapore Botanic Gardens at the Gardens Briefing Room (located at the Visitor Center at Cluny road, next to Nature’s Niche bookshop).
